Walk over waves on Terrigal’s iconic architectural marvel!
This immaculately crafted, accessible wooden boardwalk connects Terrigal’s main high street shops, bars and beachside promenade directly over the crashing waves to The Haven and its surrounding parkland and The Skillion.
Whether you approach the new Terrigal Boardwalk at sunrise, sunset or high tide, one thing is certain – you will feel closer to the ocean than ever, with some impressive photo opportunities to prove it!
We’ll be meeting at McDonalds 513-517 Pacific Hwy, Mount Colah NSW 2079 and proceeding to Terrigal as per the schedule below.
After spending some time on the Boardwalk and its surroundings, lunch will be at the Terrigal Hotel and will be at your own cost. Please click here for the menu and prices.
There is no charge for this run.
Bookings are required no later than 10:00pm Sunday 2nd February 2025 to confirm numbers with the Terrigal Hotel.

We then cruise up the M1 to Distillery Botanic located at 25 Portsmouth Road Erina.

Weekend Run to Bob’s Shed Quirindi
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May 2024
Leaving Thornleigh McDonalds on Saturday morning, to first visit the Murrurundi Museum then on to the Imperial Hotel at Quirindi for lunch before arriving to check out Bob’s Shed that afternoon and ending up at the Sunflower Motor Inn for our overnight stay.
Sunday breakfast will be at Bob’s Shed and a visit to the Werris Creek Rail Museum before setting off home.

A nice leisurely drive from Eastern Creek to the Treat Factory at Berry and then on to lunch in the Gerringong Bowling Club at Werri Beach.

Come along for a fun filled day at the Hunter Valley Steamfest where we will be displaying our cars in the Show and Shine in Maitland Park. You can wander around and enjoy all that Steamfest has to offer, from steam train races or train rides, antique machinery and see how things used to be done, or just check out the market stalls or gourmet food stores and more. It is a great day for the entire family, young and old.
A donation to enter Show and Shine is $10.00 per vehicle, to be paid in cash at Steamfest.

If you’ve never been away with the Club this is a fantastic opportunity to get to know your fellow members better.

Peter Brock Memorial Run to Mount Panorama Bathurst – 24th March 2024

Postponed from 17th March due to wet weather, this cruise to the Mount Panorama race track at Bathurst is our biggest run of the year and is the closest date the track was available for us to commemorate Peter Brock’s Birthday, 26th February 1945.
This is an HSVOC Members Only event. Only members and their guests who have made online bookings may attend. Entries by non HSVOC Members will be cancelled and refunded.
Names need to be checked in and wrist bands will be issued at all meeting points.

7:00am meet up at Richmond McDonald’s on the corner of March Street and E Market Street Richmond.
7:30am leave heading towards Bells line of road towards Lithgow then onto the Rail Museum at 126 Havannah St, Bathurst.
12:00pm head across country sealed roads to Neville Sidings where we will be staying for the night.
1:00pm Arrive at Neville
Saturday accommodation is $60.00 per person.
Sunday 11th September
Breakfast at Neville Sidings (included in entry cost) before leaving for the cruise back to Sydney.
Cost is still to be finalised but will include Museum entry, accommodation at Neville Sidings for Saturday evening, food for Sunday Breakfast and Sunday dinner. C1 Speed is an Australian first, ecological system of Electric Indoor Karts that covers an area of 3,000 square meters, a style characterized by “techno” and futuristic content that makes it unique in its kind.
A true jewel in the Karting Industry the new multi-purpose Motorsport Centre is noted for its spectacular circuit designed, more than 400 meters of straights, chicanes and curves, inserted into a structure where you can experience the thrill of driving on the track.
The fleet consists of 40 current generation electric karts, much safer than petrol Karts and perform much better than traditional petrol engines.
COST TO MEMBERS: $60.00 per person for two karting sessions on the track and this includes your licence that is valid for 12 months

Run to Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens Mount Tomah – Sunday May 15th 2022

9:00 am Meet at McDonalds, Mcgraths Hill, on the corner of Windsor Road, and Groves Ave.
9:30 am Leave McDonalds Mcgraths Hill heading towards Richmond and on to Bells line of Road
10:25 am Arrive at Blue Mountains Botanical Gardens, Mount Tomah
Entry to the Gardens is free but there is a charge for the car park that will keep all or cars secure and away from the general public cars. Cost is $6 per car.
We will remain at the Gardens for approx. 2 hours and meet back at the cars 12:30pm.
We will then make a 12 min drive to Bilpin Cyder. Unfortunately, they no longer do tastings due to Covid, but you can purchase a tasting paddle for $15 if you wish to have a taste.

Come along for a fun filled day at the Hunter Valley Steamfest where we will be displaying our cars in the Show and Shine in Maitland Park. You can wander around and enjoy all that Steamfest has to offer, from steam train races or train rides, antique machinery and see how things used to be done, or just check out the market stalls or gourmet food stores and more. It is a great day for the entire family, young and old.
A donation to enter Show and Shine is $10.00 per vehicle, to be paid in cash at Steamfest.

Lunch at The Sunken Monkey Hotel, Erina.
Fires Creek Botanical Winery is one of the most unique and beautiful wineries in Australia, practicing regenerative organic farming to make award-winning wines from a wide array of botanicals.
We will be at Fire Creek for approx. 1.5 hours to have a taste of the wonderful wines they produce and wander the grounds.
Cost is $5 per person to be paid in cash to Louise Davey at the Meeting Point.
Then we will have a 10 min Drive to our Lunch location of the Sunken Monkey Hotel for lunch.

Thirroul Beach Pavilion. First opened in 1940. It has casual beach dining with uninterrupted ocean views.
7:30am Meet at Peter Brock Drive, Eastern Creek opposite the Go Karts.
7:45am Briefing.
8:00am Leave. Make our way to M4 then onto M7, and then follow the Hume Highway, Narellan Road, Camden Bypass, Remebrance Drive through Picton and onto the Old Hume Highway to Tahmoor.
9:10am Arrive at Where Ya Bean cafe, 152 Remembrance Drive Tahmoor for a coffee break
10:45am Leave Tahmoor. Travell South along Old Hume Highway to the M31 Hume Motorway, then east onto Picton Road and on to Lawrence Hargrave Drive Thirroul, turn right onto Bath Street, left into Cliff Pde. Find parking anywhere around the Thirroul Beach Pavilion.
11:45am Arrive at Thirroul Beach Pavilion. Order and pay for your own lunch.

Run to Warragamba Dam – Sunday 17th October
Drive from Edmonson Park to Warragamba Dam via Orangeville
Due to current regulations we can only have 20 people on this run so first in gets a spot. If restrictions change we will also change the numbers accordingly
Sydney is starting to open up so let’s take the beasts out for a nice drive in the countryside!

8:45am Meet in the McDonalds Edmonson Park car park.
9:30am Briefing
9:40am Leave and head along Camden Valley Way, to Narellan and onto Cobbitty Road, Bobs Range Road through Orangeville then onto Silverdale Road and to Warragamba Dam.
10:45am Arrive at Warragamba Dam. At the Dam there are videos to watch and information about the dam construction at the information centre. Videos run for approx. ½ hour. You can also walk across the Dam, and this takes approx. ½ hour as well.
12:15pm Leave Warragamba Dam
12.30 pm Arrive at Wallacia Hotel for lunch at own cost. Current covid regulations will only allow 20 for this run but if this changes and we are able to have more in attendance, we will let you know

This run will be in compliance with NSW Government Covid-19 Health orders (as at 10th January 2021), please click here to download a copy of the event Covid-19 Plan. In summary, the main requirements will be that (a) all attendees must have booked their places online prior to the event (for contact tracing purposes), (b) face masks are required to be worn when indoors and (c) attendees are to comply with 1 person per 2 square meters and remain at least 1.5 meters distant from those who don’t reside in the same household.

Saturday –7.00 meet up at Richmond Mc Donald’s corner of March street and E Market Street Richmond. 7.30am leave heading towards Bells line of road towards Lithgow then onto Abercrombie House Ophir Road Bathurst. We will be having Morning Tea and then wander the grounds and the house.( entry and morning tea included) leaving Abercrombie house 11am, heading across country sealed roads to Neville Sidings where we will be staying for the night. Arriving at Neville at approx. noon.

You can leave the ground at any time of the day and have a wonder around the town at all that Steam Feast has to offer your from steam train races or train rides, check out the antique machinery and see how things used to be done or just have a wonder around the live music, market stals or gourment food stores and more. It is a great day for the entire family, young and old.
COST TO MEMBERS: $10pp for show and shine entry to pay in cash at the showground if you want to enter
Upon checkout you will be requested to provide the name of all attendees (as well as email address). Attendees who are not club members will be granted Temporary Membership for these two days. This is necessary to ensure that the event documentation conforms with relevant legislation and that all attendees are covered by our Motorsport Australia insurance policy. For our final run for 2020, lets get out in our magnificent cars for one more time for the year with a nice relaxing drive to Jamberoo, with the option to have lunch at the Jamberoo Pub or at the Jamberoo Action Park.
All attendees will need to make their booking online and select Pub or Park (below) as we need to advise the venues of numbers due to Covid-19 requirements.

Once we arrive at Jamberoo you can choose to either spend the day at Jamberoo Action Park or come to Jamberoo Pub for Lunch at own cost.
You are encouraged to wear your red Club Shirts.
