The Appin Hotel is a family friendly establishment with great food and drink, good service and a friendly atmosphere where patrons can feel welcome, socialise, relax, eat, drink and be happy!

Join us in a leisurely cruise to have lunch with your mates from the Pub Bistro.

 

If you have already RSVP’d for the 22nd January and can’t make it on the 26th March, please email Darren Watt socialsecretary@hsvclubnsw.com to advise him.

If you haven’t RSVP’d for the 22nd January but wish to go on the 26th March please make your booking below.

There is a limit now of 65 people so there are now places available. As before, entries are on a first-in basis.

 

Schedule

10:30am – Meet up at Peter Brock Drive Eastern Creek opposite Go Karts facing east.
10:45am – Drivers briefing
11:00am – Depart on cruise to Appin Hotel. Route to be confirmed.
12 Noon – Arrive at the Appin Hotel

Schedule

Route

The route is departing Peter Brock Drive, via Reservoir Road onto the M4.

We will take the M7 south through the interchange onto the M31(Hume Highway), and continue to  Picton Road, Wilton.

Upon exiting the freeway at Picton road, we will head in the direction of Wollongong for a short  distance, exiting just south of Wilton and turning North onto Almond Street, then immediately right  onto Argyle Street. Argyle Street becomes Wilton Road. We will follow this the back way into Appin, via  Broughtons Pass.

Roadwork

There are currently two known Roadwork zones on the drive.

The first being on the M31 at Mount Pleasant. The Speed of the Freeway is reduced from 110km/h to 80km/h.

The Second is Picton Road, Wilton. The speed limit is reduced from 80km/h to 60km/h.

 

Slow Points.

➢ The onramp at Reservoir Road

o Separation point for the pack entering the freeway.

➢ M31 Roadwork zone

o 80km/h reduced speed

➢ Picton Road Roadwork zone

o 60km/h reduced speed

➢ Broughtons Pass

o One Lane bridge, 10km/h (No heavy vehicles)

➢ Appin Road, Church

o Street Stop Sign

➢ Appin Road, Market Street

o Traffic Lights

o Hotel Entry

 

Parking

There are two possible parking places, with Market Street being the Primary and the IGA carpark the secondary.

The Menu

The Hotel can cater to any specific dietary requirements. The Bistro staff have also stated we can  request a specific roast if we wish, they will cater to us.

The Booking has now been increased to 50 as we have 42 already booked.
