Run to Gosford Classic Car Museum 2nd April 2017 – Concession
Club Run to Gosford Classic Car Museum
Sunday 2nd April 2017
Experience the largest car museum in the southern hemisphere.
We will be meeting up at the Cowan Rest Area Truck Stop(old toll gates) on the Old Pacific Hwy.
9:15am – meeting time Cowan Rest Area Truck Stop
9:30am – Drivers Briefing
9:45am – Depart Cowan Rest Area truck Stop
10:30am – Arrive at Gosford Classic Car Museum
You will issued with a day pass so you can come in and out as many times as you like on the day. Generally it takes 2-3 hours to do the museum walk through.
Entry into the museum will be conducted as a group and any concession card entry WILL require presentation of your BLUE CONCESSION CARD. SENIORS card will not be accepted!
AIRSTREAM DINER—opens from 8:30am, serves coffee, drinks, burgers, hot dogs, chips and salads. The menu is always changing but these are pretty much always on the menu.
Bookings and pre-payment will be required.
Bookings close 10pm 29th March, no late bookings will be accepted

Christmas Lights Spectacular are celebrating an impressive 10 years of spreading the Christmas spirit and joy to adults and children of all ages. To mark this momentous occasion, Hunter Valley Gardens invites you to explore the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest and most breathtaking display of over 2 million lights.
Entry to the gardens is $21 Adults and $17 per child (4-15 years)
There are also rides in the grounds of the gardens and wrist bands can be purchased at the entrance for an additional fee.
Gates open from 6.30pm – 10pm
Cruise from Thornleigh McDonalds up along the M1 to Hunter Valley Gardens Pokolbin.

In conjunction with the HSV Owners Club of Qld we will be continuing the tradition of an annual weekend away in Coffs Harbour.
If you’ve never been away with the Club this is a fantastic opportunity to get to know your fellow members better.
There’s plenty of time to sit down with members that you don’t know all that well and find out more about them while also letting them know more about yourself

Come along for a leisurely drive to the beautiful Jenolan Caves. There are three carparks on the grounds of Jenolan caves that we can park in.
Once we arrive at Jenolan Caves we will be doing a private tour of the Imperial Cave. The tour runs for 1 hour.
If you would like to attend but do not want to do the caves tour that is fine to. There is a number of walking trails around the caves grounds that you could explore whilst the tour is running.
BYO Picnic Lunch or buy your lunch from the Jenolan Caves food facilities

Mayfield Gardens near Oberon began to take shape in the mid-1990’s and today is one of the world’s largest privately owned cool climate gardens. Owned by the Hawkins family, Mayfield Gardens extend across more than 160 acres (64H) and sits within a 5,000acre working farm. Numerous follies and features are blended into the landscape: the breath-taking 80metre cascade, the walled kitchen garden; the stunning Water Garden, the Grotto, the Valley of the Five Ponds, the Venus Vale and the Gallery, the Aviary, the Chapel, rose garden and Islamic style pond and much, much more.
We will leave from opposite the Go Kart track on Peter Brock Drive, Eastern Creek at 8.00am and then head along the M4 to the Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bar for a 30 minute morning tea beak. After morning tea we will make our way towards Oberon and beyond to the beautiful Mayfield Gardens. After some exploring of the gardens we will then head back inside for some lovely wood fired pizza which will be topped with fresh produce that is grown on site.

There is a fenced off grass area in front of the hotel that we can park the cars.
Lunch will be held in the bistro in a reserved seating area.

11.15 arrive at Warnervale
11.30 leave Warnervale Head along M1 to the Doylson Link Road Exit, then onto Motorway link road (Pacific Highway)
to Swansea and turn right at the round about taking the Caves beach exit.
Run sheets will be given out at the Drivers briefing at both departure points.
If you wish to explore the cave after lunch you can go for a stroll along the beach to the caves or a
short drive to a car park just above the caves. (if you have a pair of reef shoes bring them along)
Low tide will be at approx 4pm
