Run to Hunter Valley

Sunday 14th June 2026

We’ll be meeting at Mount Colah McDonalds at 8.00am and leaving at 8:30am sharp for a rest stop and second meeting point at the Ampol Wyong M1 Twin Service Centre Northbound  arriving around 9:30am.

After a break, we’ll leave at 9:45am for the Garden Cellars (Shop 21) Hunter Valley Gardens Shopping Village, 2090 Broke Road, Pokolbin NSW 2320.

We have two wine tasting booked at the Garden Cellars for 10:30am. Half our group will go to a wine and beer tasting while the other half goes to a vodka, gin and liquor tasting at the Small Mouth Distillery (Shop 20). These tastings will be for 15 minutes and then each half group swaps to the other tasting venue.

After that we’ll depart at 11:30am for a stop at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company, approximately 5 minutes down the road at 2320 Broke Rd, Pokolbin, NSW 2320.

Then we’ll leave at 12:30pm for a 1:00pm lunch (at your own choice and cost) at the Potters Brewery Wine Country Dr, Nulkaba 2325.

Club members, please wear your red Club Polo shirts to help make great photographs!

Bookings are essential as we need to provide numbers for reservations at both the Garden Cellars and Chocolate Factory tastings.

Event Cost including both tastings is $10.00 per adult 16 years of age and over. Kids under 16 years are free.

Members are encouraged to bring a hand held UHF Radio to keep in contact with the convoy. Channel 18.

Convoy etiquette: Headlights or daytime lights on, keep up within 2-3 seconds of car in front (no long gaps) and no overtaking the run leader.

Only Members and guests that have booked and paid for this run may attend.
