Hire is for street-registered vehicles only; IHRA-designated Super Street vehicles.
Cars with a known potential to run quicker than 10.00-seconds (1/4 mile) are not permitted
All drivers must hold a current civil driver’s licence as a minimum
P-plate licences are acceptable; Learner’s permits are not acceptable for cars
Entry forms must be emailed to, and payment must be made to the Muscle, Classic and Performance Car Club of NSW Inc. “No-shows” for the event will not be refunded.
Names of all crew and spectators need to be included on your entry form to gain admission.
If you have a IHRA drag licence, the IHRA licence number must be included in your entry, and you must present your IHRA drag licence during registration and race under your IHRA Licence during the hire day.
Entry fee includes a “1 Day” drag licence for those without a IHRA drag licence.
The Sydney Dragway Café will not be available for service on the day. Please bring your own food or visit nearby establishments.
Drivers must wear an approved helmet (AS/NZS 1698 minimum as specified in the below Table “Minimum Vehicle Requirements) with long-sleeved upper body garment, long pants and enclosed shoes. (Shoes and clothing must be of fire resistant material (eg wool or cotton) as a minimum – no nylon).
Minimum lap-sash seat belt required (lap-only seat belts are not permitted)
No alcohol, glass containers, animals or fireworks permitted within the venue
Competitor Gate opens 8:00am, Registration/Scrutineering 8:00am – 9:45am. Racing after compulsory Drivers Briefing at 9:45am on the starting line.
Any driver running 10.50-seconds or quicker over the quarter-mile will require an IHRA Licence.
