Peter Brock Birthday Run to Mount Panorama Bathurst
Sunday 7th February 2021
This cruise to the Mount Panorama race track at Bathurst is our biggest run of the year to commemorate Peter Brock’s Birthday, 26th February 1945. Unfortunately the Supercars decided to run the Mount Panorama 500 when we usually make this pilgrimage so we have had to reschedule it to Sunday 7th February.
This run will be in compliance with NSW Government Covid-19 Health orders (as at 29th January 2021), please click here to download a copy of the event Covid-19 Plan. In summary, the main requirements will be that (a) all attendees must have booked their places online prior to the event (for contact tracing purposes) and attendees are to comply with 1 person per 2 square meters and remain at least 1.5 meters distant from those who don’t reside in the same household.
Only members and their guests who have already made online bookings may attend. Entry cost includes a KFC lunch and water/soft drinks.
Names need to be checked in and Wrist bands will be issued at all meeting points and at the top of the mountain by Joe Garzaniti and Andi Willelson. Make sure that you obtain yours as they will get you a discount when we stop at the Hydro Majestic for a coffee break (Coffee and pastry deal for $10 per person and then our additional 10% discount off any retail purchases). This wrist band will also be required for your KFC lunch and water/soft drink at McPhillamy Park.

Schedule
Meeting Point #1: McDonalds cnr Reservoir & Holbeche Roads Arndell Park.
Meeting Time: 7:30am
Briefing Time: 7:45am
Note: Drivers ONLY to attend briefing as we need to keep group numbers down for Covid-19 Safety.
Departure Time: 8:00am Sharp
Meeting Point #2: Hydro Majestic Hotel 52-88 Great Western Hwy, Medlow Bath.
Arrive: 9:30am
Group Photo upon arrival and then coffee & muffin break for about an hour.
A coffee and pastry deal for $10 per person and then our additional 10% discount off any retail purchases for club members with Wrist Bands.
Depart: 10:30am.
Bathurst Track, McPhillamy Park.
Arrive: 12:15pm
Information
We will do 2 parade laps of the Mountain upon arrival and then queue off the road on left side of the grass area at the beginning of MOUNTAIN STRAIGHT where you are to stage in your car colour group to await your call up to photo area. Please look for your car colour Flag and stage with cars of your same colour group. You will be called up in your colour groups for a Photo Shoot for our Magazine.
This will happen before lunch so please be patient and follow the directions of the committee on the day so we can get to enjoy the day as we are expecting over 150 members and guests to attend this run.
RED CLUB MEMBERS SHIRTS are STRONGLY recommended to be worn on the day especially for the photo shoot.
ALL Committee members MUST wear their BLACK COMMITTEE SHIRTS on the day.
If you don’t own a RED CLUB MEMBERS SHIRT you can purchase one on the day as Andi will have the full range of our club merchandise with her.
Only Members and guests that have strictly RSVP and Paid for this run may attend.
NOTE : If there is going to be enormous amount of rain we will postpone the run on Saturday night, so please keep a eye out in your emails for this notice. This email notice will only be sent out if we postpone the event and it is not going to go ahead.
COVID-19 Safety Plan

In general, a minimum of 2 sqm per person with a separation of 1.5m between persons is to be observed at all times and masks are to be worn when indoors.
You must not attend if you are:
* Showing any signs of cold or flu symptoms
* Have been overseas in the previous 14 days
* Had contact with anyone confirmed with COVID-19 in the previous 14 days
* Had contact with anyone who has been overseas in the previous 14 days
If after attending this event, an attendee is subsequently confirmed as a COVID-19 case up to 14 days after the event, or had contact with a known COVID case up to 14 days prior to the event, they must inform the event organisers.
