HSVOC/TSOA Dyno Day – Saturday 28th September 2019
Unigroup Engineering
Unit 17, 17A Amax Avenue, Girraween NSW 2145.
How to Enter
Please see below for full info on the day. Start time will be determined by the final number of entries we receive but if we get a lot then a morning start is OK.
Like last time this day is being organised and run by me for the Triumph Club (of which I am Competition Secretary) with HSVOC and NSCC members an integral part of the day. Non members, friends or Family are also welcome to enter or come along and watch.
The club is asking people to pay up front for this day so we know how many definites there will be. Please email me (brettgil@iinet.net.au) with the car you will be bringing so that I can add you to the list and please pay the $85 entry fee as a direct deposit into the Triumph Club account:
BSB: 032-081 A/c name: TSOA NSW A/c No. 910909
with your “initial and surname – DD” as the reference and if applicable, place my email address into the payer advice box.
Please note that if you have a credit due to you from the May event this year that we had to cancel due to lack of entries, please confirm that you are entering this event and I will apply that credit.
I will email you an update as time goes on and final details closer to the day where I will allocate you to a block of time. Any queries please email me.
I will send out further details a week before to those who enter about timings etc. Due the fact there are 3 clubs invited and some have a carry over credit, I expect this one to fill quickly. Be great to see some nice sounding HSVs there.
This day has been organized on the Unigroup Engineering Dyno Dynamics 4WD Chassis Dyno to let you find out how many KW or HP you have at the rear wheels and how your engine is performing.
Evan and his team of technicians will host this afternoon where we are looking to have a minimum of 20 cars entered. For a fee of $85 you will get 3 power runs in succession to whatever rev limit you nominate or until the max power has been achieved as shown by a graph on the colour TV monitor. You will receive a graphical print out of your power runs, air/fuel ratio and boost pressure (if forced induction) across the rev range – all important information regarding how your engine is working.
Unigroup is a small tuning house that specializes in both naturally aspirated and forced induction engines either with EFI or carbies. After each run he will give a diagnosis of how your engine is performing and where improvements can be made.
He will be available to discuss any aspect of your engine as his team removes and replaces cars on the dyno. Each session will take approx 15-20 mins to load up, run and take off the dyno.
The day will commence either morning or early afternoon depending on numbers and go thru until all cars have had their runs. You can arrive and stay for the afternoon or book an approximate time in 20 min slots.
Unigroup’s website is www.unigroup.com.au so check out what they do or their tel no is 9631 2470 should you want to discuss aspects of this day or you can email Brett Gilles at brettgil@iinet.net.au

Part of the fun is watching the power curve build on the TV monitor.
