Located just 20 mins drive north of Newcastle, Fighter World offers the chance to get up close to some of Australia’s most iconic military aircraft.

Displayed in two hangars, visitors can learn about the advancement of military aviation in today’s high-tech world.

Amongst the many exhibits you’ll also discover the Mirage jet fighter and Macchi jet trainer cockpits that are open for inspection and for that ultimate ‘Top Gun’ experience you must try the Virtual Reality simulators.

Meeting Point will be the Mount Colah McDonalds, with a quick rest stop at the Wyong Ampol Foodary M1 before arriving at Fighter World for tours of the exhibits, followed by lunch at the Pacific Dunes Greenhouse restaurant, just 7 minutes away.

Bookings and payment are required in advance to ensure that the venues will be able to cater for us.

For each attendee, please make your selection below and then click “Book Ticket” to add it to your Cart.

Once all your attendees’ bookings have been added to your Cart, please proceed to Checkout and make your payment in a single transaction.

Special entry prices have been arranged with Fighter World and a group Lunch Menu has been arranged with the Pacific Dunes Greenhouse restaurant.

Lunch selection is for the main meal only, anything else can be ordered and paid for at the restaurant on the day.

Bookings are required no later than 10:30pm Tuesday 1st April March 2025 to confirm numbers and menu selections with the venues.

Fighter World Museum

Fighter World is dedicated to preserving the proud history of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) operations in the Newcastle and Hunter/New England regions.

Located just 20 mins drive north of Newcastle, Fighter World offers the chance to get up close to some of Australia’s most iconic military aircraft.

Displayed in two hangars, visitors can learn about the advancement of military aviation in today’s high-tech world.

During your visit take the time to catch all the action from the Observation Deck as the RAAF’s premier fighter squadrons come and go.

There’s easy access and disabled facilities making Fighter World ideal for people of all ages and abilities.

Schedule:

8:15am Meeting Point – McDonalds 513-517 Pacific Hwy, Mount Colah NSW 2079

8:45am Drivers Briefing

9:00am Leave via Pacific Highway and in 10kms join the M1 Pacific Motorway at Cowan, then continue to the Ampol Foodary Wyong for a quick 15 minute rest stop.

9:45am Arrive at the Ampol Foodary Wyong, M1 Northbound for a quick 15-minute rest stop.

10:00am Depart the Ampol Foodary and continue along the M1. Continue along the A1 Pacific Highway exit then after the Hexham bridge, turn right into Tomago Rd. Follow Tomago/Cabbage Tree Rds, and at the end turn left into Nelson Bay Rd and left again at the roundabout into Medowie Rd and Fighter World as per the Map below.

11:00am Arrive at World Fighter World, 49 Medowie Rd, Williamtown NSW 2318 for tours of the exhibits.

12:30pm Depart for lunch at Pacific Dunes Greenhouse restaurant. Continue North along Medowie Rd and after the Richardson Rd roundabout, take the first turn right into South St, right again into Championship Drive and then right into Huntingdale Place.

12:37pm Arrive at Pacific Dunes Greenhouse restaurant, Huntingdale Place, Medowie New South Wales 2318 for lunch.
