
2025 is the 40th Anniversary of the inception of our Club and was celebrated at our Club Run for Mount Panorama Bathurst, at a special run and lunch at the Mittagong RSL (there were more members on this run than the Briar’s Inn could cater for!) and a special 40th Anniversary Club General Meeting where the “father” of HDT and HSV Clubs Paul Dillon (pictured right with Brocky) came up from Canberra as Guest Speaker at our September General meeting. Foundation Club Secretary Brian Cassell was also Guest Speaker at our special May General meeting.
Social Events: Runs to the Terrigal Boardwalk and lunch at the Terrigal Hotel, Fighter World with lunch at the Pacific Dunes restaurant, NSW Rail Musueam at Thirlmere followed by lunch at the Mittagong RSL, a weekend away to Mark Briggs’ Peter Brock Pitstop Museum at Young, Annual Peter Brock Memorial Run to Mount Panorama Bathurst (pictured below), Go Karting at Eastern Creek followed by lunch at the Wallacia Hotel, a run to Pheasant Wood Circuit with parade laps at lunchtime then lunch at the Marulan Hotel, 20th Anniversary Coffs Harbour Weekend Away.

Special Events: Tuff Street Ford vs Holden Show Greenway Wetherill Park Club Display, Beat the Blue at Sydney Motorsport Park, All Holden Day was rained out and we didn’t display as a Club but 6 hardy members attended, Shannons Sydney Classic at SMSP, Cars and Coffee at Astina Space Penrith and the Gala Dinner Presentation Night at Doltone House, Club Marconi (November)
2025 Club Motorsport Championship Winners:
Malcolm Michel won the Club’s Motorsport Championship Trophy with Jack Hills placed 2nd and Grant Charlwood 3rd.
Tony McDrmott won the Road Holden Class.
Malcolm Michel won the Race Holden Class followed by Grant Charlwood and Brett Thompson.
Jack Hills won the Outlaw Class followed by Louise Taylor and Andrew Peters.
2025 Motorsport Australia NSW Supersprint Championship Results:
2025 is the thirteeenth year that our Club has been competing in the CAMS/Motorsport Australia NSW Supersprint Championship and the elevnth year in a row that our Club has been on the Podium in the Club Championship, with another second place behind the ARDC.
Motorsport: Motorsport NSW Supersprint Championships – 6 Rounds including the last round that will be held at the Pheasant Wood Circuit which our Club hosted. The Bathurst Speed Series was also incorporated into our Club’s motorsport calendar. HSVOC Teams also competed with four teams in the NSW 6 Hour Regularity, and a team in the 2025 Bathurst Challenge.
Driver Development: Defensive Driving Program and Advanced Driving Program by Stewart Nicholls, Steer Safely.
2025 Muscle Car Show Championship Winners:
2 Rounds of the 2025 Muscle Car Show Championship were held, the first was at the Club Paceway in Penrith with most of the vehicles displayed under cover, and the second at the Macarthur Square shopping center in Campbelltown. Both shows has local media promotion and great support from the hosting businesses as well a large attendance of spectators.

Website: The Club introduced the PayWay payment gateway as its main online payment system with PayPal and Square now optional. Westpac upgraded its Security Certification and we had to contract the upgrade and testing out to website developer Intense Designs who will now be undertaking any advanced technical work on our website.
Historic & Classic Plates: The Club has 29 vehicles participating in both schemes which are for vehicles 30 years of age and older.
